Artistic Magic - March 10, 2012 Winners of Coeur d'Alene Symphony's National Young Artists Competition - Join us as musicians from all over the globe compete in six divisions for a chance to play in this concert.

The Magic of Jazz - April 28th, 2012 Christian Howes, critically acclaimed jazz violinist, joins the Coeur d'Alene Symphony in our season finale.

Our Conductors The 2011-12 season marks David Demand’s 11th year as Conductor and Artistic Director of the Coeur d’Alene Symphony Orchestra and Chamber Orchestra. He is also the conductor for Coeur d’Alene’s Opera Plus! He has performed throughout the United States, Canada, and Europe as a conductor, soloist, and accompanist.

Dr. Philip Baldwin, is Director of String Studies and Assistant Professor of violin at Whitworth College. His career has spanned the gamut of string teaching and conducting.

We’re planning a Magical Season which will include Beethoven’s Seventh Symphony, Mozart’s Concerto for Two Pianos, and many other magical moments.

Endowment Fund

Established in 2004, the fund will accept donations and memorial gifts to be invested in perpetuity. The proceeds will be used to support the many projects and efforts of the Symphony, from scholarships, to guest artists, to capital acquisitions.
